The Stella Hotel & Ballroom Continues Tradition of Honoring Kenosha’s Service Members with Annual Appreciation Brunch

KENOSHA, WI. (April 23, 2025) – In a continued show of appreciation for the city’s dedicated public servants, The Stella Hotel & Ballroom proudly hosted its 2nd Annual Service Members Brunch at The 1844 Table & Mash, welcoming more than 225 members of the Kenosha Police Department, Kenosha County Sheriff’s Department, Kenosha Fire Department, and Kenosha Public Works for a meaningful morning of gratitude, recognition, and connection.

The brunch featured a complimentary buffet of delicious breakfast and lunch favorites, set in a relaxed atmosphere where service members could unwind and enjoy the company of fellow colleagues and community leaders. Awards and certificates were also presented to several outstanding individuals, honoring their exceptional service and dedication to the Kenosha community.

“This annual brunch is a small gesture that means a great deal,” said Michael Carstedt, General Manager of The Stella Hotel & Ballroom. “It’s our way of recognizing the incredible efforts of those who keep our city safe, strong, and running every single day. We’re honored to give back, even in a small way.”

A key contributor to the success of this year’s event was Ms. Molly Gray Moores, a beloved local community figure, whose support and coordination played a vital role in bringing the brunch to life. Her commitment to celebrating Kenosha’s service members added a special energy to the planning process and the event itself.
