2025 season now officially underway at Brighton Dale Links, Petrifying Springs Golf Course

Kenosha County’s golf courses — Brighton Dale Links and Petrifying Springs Golf Course — are now open for the 2025 season, County Executive Samantha Kerkman announced today.

“We’re excited to begin a new season at our county golf courses,” Kerkman said. “Under the leadership of Golf Director Jim Wallace, golfers can expect more of what they love about Brighton Dale and Petrifying Springs Golf Course, along with some new improvements.”

At the 45-hole Brighton Dale complex, only the 18-hole Blue Spruce course will be open for the start of the season, Wallace said.

The nine-hole Red Pine course and the driving range will remain closed until further notice to allow more time for newly reconstructed areas to mature before play begins. The 18-hole White Birch course is expected to open within the next two weeks, Wallace added.

“We are excited to debut a new driving range, putting green and improved Red Pine course later this spring,” Wallace said. “These improvements will further enhance what was already an outstanding playing experience at Brighton Dale Links.”

Last year was a record-setting year for use of the two county golf facilities, with roughly 78,000 rounds played at Brighton Dale and 42,000 at Petrifying Springs. Collectively, the course hosted roughly 60 events and more than 40 golf leagues.

“It’s our goal to build upon this momentum in 2025, and to continue offering a premier golfing experience for Kenosha County residents and visitors alike,” Wallace said.
