Local residents to hold Kenosha County’s largest Women’s Consignment Event April 25-27

This is slated to be the largest women’s shopping event in Kenosha. Over a three-day period, attendees can expect to select among leading brand name items such as Lululemon, Anthropologie, Kate Spade, Coach, Levi, Michael Kors, Tory Burch, Marc Jacobs, and other brand name items depending on the selection of items collected.

According to an article in Retail Dive most consumers said they felt resale shopping was equally or more convenient and accessible than traditional online shopping. Among the top reasons why shoppers are turning to resale are lower prices, a wider selection of unique items and the opportunity to find unexpected treasures, the survey found. Another report from ThredUp released earlier this year estimated that the global resale market will reach $350 billion by 2027, and the U.S. market will reach $70 billion by 2027.

Lisa and Lilly Torres, Tremper graduates and founders of Labels Designer Consignment, are working to bring the expansion of this resale shopping trend to Kenosha. “This one-of-a-kind shopping event will allow women to buy fashionable pieces at a great price while also selling their own pieces and earning money. The resale and consignment markets are so important as we strive to protect the environment through our sustainable resale model”.

According to a Retail Dive article “In the U.S. each year, some 11.3 million tons of textile waste, or 85% of all textiles, are sent to landfills, according to Earth.org. It doesn’t help that the number of times a garment is worn has declined by nearly 40% since 2007. Selling used clothing instead of throwing it away is a solution that appeals to brands and consumers alike.”

This is the event for women who want to earn money selling their clothing and accessories. Easier and more convenient than selling on any resale site, with this pop-up shopping event, your items can sell faster than any other resale method. Simply tag, drop off, and receive an e-check within one week of the sale.

Labels Designer Consignment will have a drop off weekend where sellers can bring their clothing and accessories to be featured in the sale. The drop off dates are April 20h – 21st.  Sellers can register for an appointment after registering for the sale at labelsdesignersale.com.

The Labels Designer Consignment event will take place at the DoubleTree by Hilton, 11800 108th St, Pleasant Prairie. (across from Premium Outlets) Sale hours are from 9:00am – 6:00pm.
