Human Trafficking Training at Herzing University

Human trafficking is one of the world’s largest criminal enterprises. While it is hard to believe that something like this could affect us, human trafficking is happening in our backyard.

Herzing University Kenosha and The UMOS Latina Resource Center’s Wisconsin Regional Anti-Human Trafficking Program (WRAP) will host a Labor Trafficking Training on Tuesday, May 30, from 12:00-1:00 PM CT as the final presentation in a series on Human trafficking at Herzing University Wisconsin campuses.

WRAP will be giving general labor trafficking training to all Herzing University students, faculty, staff and the general public. Attendees will learn about labor trafficking, understand where this is happening, methods of recruitment and indicators. Attendees will be able to engage in trivia and look at a case scenario.

Other Herzing Wisconsin campuses will be hosting additional events on May 16 and May 23 for General Human Trafficking and Sex Trafficking trainings respectively. These events can be attended in person or joined virtually.

Registration for this event and other human trafficking events through Herzing University are offered at no cost. Registrants unable to attend in person can access the event virtually through Zoom. Make sure to save your spot today!
