Safe Harbor/Kenosha.com Pet of the Week: Clifford the Cowboy

Clifford the Cowboy is an old man at 7 years old. He has some old man lumps here and there as well as sore hips. These things happen with old age.

He has decided that he deserves to not have to share his toys or high-quality treats with anyone. Therefore, we suggest he goes to a home with kids 13-and-over and dogs that won’t push the subject. He is a very sweet dog when he is in his element and feels comfortable.

The general available dog room has proven to be too much for him, so he is currently in a different room at the shelter. If you’d like to meet him, just ask the Adoption Counselors to locate a Kennel Technician for you. He LOVES gentle back rubs and going on walks, but nothing too long as his old legs only go for so far.

Clifford the Cowboy is available for adoption. His adoption fee is $199 plus tax, but with Safe Harbor’s “Change Their Luck Adoption Incentive,” his adoption fee is 50% off. If you would like to meet him, please fill out an application online HERE or stop by the Safe Harbor Humane Society, 7811 60th Ave.
