Annette Londre, practicing Licenced Practical Nurse (LPN), future RN with BSN, currently studying at Herzing University of Kenosha, is hosting this event with the goal of educating the Kenosha community about Metabolic Health, how it can be tracked and monitored, and ultimately how we can improve it to become a healthier community in general. This event will be free of charge and the entire community is welcome to attend!
Annette and her husband have been members of Harbor Park Health and Fitness for 2 and 1/2 years and she has personally had an amazing transformation during her time as a member – losing over 20lbs of body fat. She has always been passionate about serving others, which has led her to pursue her LPN from Herzing University and ultimately pursue a career in Healthcare.
As mentioned, the goal of this event is to educate the community on how they can better manage their health, specifically their metabolic health, and help give them tools and resources to start living a healthier lifestyle. Metabolic Health is defined as having ideal levels of blood sugar, triglycerides, high-density lipoprotein (HDL) cholesterol, blood pressure, and waist circumference, without using medications. So Annette and the Harbor Park team will be administering quick wellness screens to give each attendee an overview of their current metabolic health, and each attendee will be given tools on how they can track and manage those markers.
For individuals looking for professional help to improve their Metabolic Health, the Harbor Park Health and Fitness team will be available to discuss the range of services they provide, including their popular Metabolic Health 16 week program, designed specifically to address these very issues.
We look forward to seeing you at the Health Fair on Saturday, April 16th At Harbor Park Health and Fitness!
