Workers Compensation Insurance & Risk Management: 4 CE Credits

8:00 A.M. - 12:00 P.M.

This course is designed to provide the participants with an overview of the Worker's Compensation (WC) Act of Wisconsin and the statutory requirements for handling claims. There is a detailed discussion on what claims create red flags, how WC disability benefits are calculated and concluding with the legal obligation for both employer and employee when it comes to workers' compensation claims. We close out this session with exploring the preventative loss control and risk management measures used to minimize the risk and cost of WC claims.

Liability & Workplace Violence: 4 CE Credits

1:00 P.M. - 5:00 P.M.

This course will explore the emerging topic of workplace violence and the impact that it has on liability insurance, health insurance and workers compensation insurance. We will explore and discuss how to recognize warning signs of workplace violence and prevention strategies. Lastly, we will review statistics which show the real impact that workplace violence has on our society.
